About

Beverly is the author and illustrator of Have You Seen Mouse? -
her debut picture book. She has also illustrated Fishing with Grandpa
and Skye, by Candace Spizzirri and My Child My Princess, by Beth
Moore. Before writing and illustrating children's books she
graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York
where she studied illustration and design. Later she taught art to
grades K-8. Currently she is an active member of SCBWI and the 12x12
Picture Book Writing Challenge. She finds inspiration for her writing
and illustrations from the beautiful work of other creators, the forest and mountains around her home and the various critters who enjoy
her yard and nibbling on her flowers. She is a Lord of the Rings fan
and loves anything chocolate.

Beverly makes her home in Washington state where she lives with her husband. When
she is not illustrating or writing stories, you can find her hiking, working with children
at her church, digging around in her garden or enjoying time spent with her family.
